Pip Stalley-Batten

Hello, I’m Pip Stalley, Interior Designer and Co-Director of Elements Interiors and Construction.

I believe good design is more than a passion—it’s essential. Design impacts every aspect of our daily lives, from the products we use to the spaces we inhabit. A well-designed home doesn’t just function better; it enhances the way you live, creating intuitive systems that feel beautiful and resolved.

My values align closely with country people, especially farmers who cherish homes passed through generations. There’s a deep satisfaction in designing spaces that are meant to last, carrying meaning and value for years to come.

Growing up on a sheep station near Bourke, I understand the realities of life in Regional NSW. My approach is grounded in practicality and authenticity, ensuring that both function and style reflect the unique character of each person and place.

Together, we’ll navigate the entire design journey—from concept to detailed construction documentation. Our collaboration is built on trust, honesty, and integrity. I know that a renovation is a significant emotional and financial investment, and I’m committed to getting it right.

In 2022, we opened our showroom with the vision of creating a regional design hub. It offers full-service interior design, sourcing, soft furnishings, upholstery, gallery space, and on-site building design.

In my spare time, I enjoy drawing, painting, and spending time with my family. The family sheep station remains my greatest inspiration, my ‘soul place.’

Builder

Hello, I’m Damian, the Builder and Co-Director of Elements Interiors and Construction. I have a passion for fine craftsmanship and producing a quality finish. My team and I take pride in producing the best finish, this may not be the easiest option and it may take a little longer. We are proud of the work we produce. Our approach is to work with Pip to define the details of the designs, brief and implement the plans and schedules. We bring life to your projects design.

I am local to the area, moving to Dubbo from Collie. I completed an Apprenticeship with Dubbo Terrazzo, mainly working on large scale commercial projects. I hold a Certificate IV and was awarded my Builder’s Licence in 2003.

While completing my Builder’s Licence, I focused on residential construction with a custom builder in Young. I have experience working on architecturally designed projects with features such as exposed timber cut roofs, dormer windows, mezzanine floors and exposed timber stairs.

I have a Project Management background, previously managing public works project and the NSW Public Housing Program for Western NSW before starting our building company.

I enjoy problem solving and I’ll tell you nothing can’t be achieved with a bit of thought and patience. In my leisure time I ride motorbikes, enjoy heading out to Bourke and time with my family.
